Loyal followers of Ariana Grande are demanding that a person who leaped a barricade and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the Australian man pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.
